  • We check whether the page is indexed by Google (robots.txt file, canonical, index, follow). If a page is excluded from indexing, we report it. We ensure that web crawlers have access to it.
  • We connect the website to Google Search Consoleto control its operation and indexing by web robots.
  • We are introducing friendly subpage addresses – if the site allows it.
  • We add subpages – if needed.

FAQs about SEO contracts

A comprehensive agreement should detail the principles of daily collaboration. Key elements include additional provisions regarding copyright for created content, confidentiality clauses (NDAs), precise reporting rules, terms of access to analytical systems, and division of responsibility for implementing technical changes to the website.

An SEO agency regularly creates blog posts, category descriptions, and code improvements for your website. The contract must clearly state that upon payment of the invoice, copyright to these materials transfers to you. This means that after the termination of the relationship, the texts and optimization remain your property and you are not required to delete them.

The terms should require the client to provide the agency with access necessary for work (e.g., to the CMS, Google Search Console, Google Analytics). Equally important is the provision that upon contract expiration, the agency undertakes to remove its authorizations, and all collected analytical data and Google tool accounts remain the exclusive property of the client.

SEO specialists gain deep insight into the inner workings of your business: sales results, margins, product plans, and marketing strategy. A confidentiality clause protects your company from leaking this sensitive financial and strategic data to competitors.

No, and professional agencies won't implement such a provision. Google's algorithm is independent, secret, and changes hundreds of times a year – no one has complete control over it. Instead of a "position guarantee," a secure contract should specify a guarantee of proper performance of specific tasks (e.g., the number of specialist hours, the amount of content delivered) or be based on KPIs (e.g., increased visibility or organic traffic).

SEO is a team effort. A good contract includes clauses outlining the client's responsibilities, such as timely delivery of materials and efficient implementation of optimization recommendations by the in-house developer. If the client blocks website changes for months, the agency can use appropriate provisions to stipulate that it is not responsible for any failure to achieve the expected results during that period.
