Why is it worth choosing an SEO audit?
Website optimization is a complex process made up of many different factors. An SEO audit allows you to assess how well a website meets these factors— in short, whether it is well-prepared to compete for a spot in the top 10.
An SEO audit highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the website, and can also suggest how to fix errors and how the website compares to competitors.
The goal of the changes proposed in the audit is to:
- Increase the visibility of the website,
- Increase traffic to the website,
- Increase sales potential.
Verseo specialists can conduct an SEO audit for various types of websites, including:
- Service websites,
- E-commerce stores,
- Corporate websites,
- Portals,
- News websites,
- Websites of institutions and organizations,
- Blogs.
We have experience auditing websites of all sizes and from various industries. We conduct audits not only in Polish but also in other languages. Upon request, we can prepare the audit in the language of your choice.
When is it worth conducting an SEO audit?
An SEO audit gives you the opportunity to test a website’s readiness for optimization. This solution is intended for websites that have already been optimized as well as for those that have not yet used SEO services. The most common situations when our clients choose to perform an SEO audit are:
- Before starting SEO – the so-called “initial audit”,
- Switching to a new SEO company,
- A complete website redesign,
- Launching a new website,
- Regular website reviews.
The knowledge and experience of SEO specialists conducting the audit are supported by professional tools – their paid PRO versions offer significantly more capabilities than their free counterparts.

The audits prepared by Verseo specialists are designed to provide a comprehensive set of information regarding the potential for optimizing the website in question and to indicate the necessary changes. Our audits (depending on the selected package) provide information on:

Which SEO Audit Package to Choose?
- Package 1: This is the standard website audit. It provides a comprehensive set of information about how the website is prepared for the positioning process, including important data about the link profile. This package is ideal for local businesses, service-promoting websites, and new websites that have just debuted on the search engine and don’t yet have a link profile. It also works well for non-profit organizations and blogs.
- Package 2: This variant combines website analysis with detailed information about links and an evaluation of keyword potential. It is dedicated to websites promoting services and smaller e-commerce stores. It also works for non-profit organizations and blogs.
- Package 3: This is an advanced audit version that includes everything from the basic version, but also incorporates detailed analyses of competition, keywords, visibility, keyword potential, and recommendations for website changes. It is designed for all types of websites.
What to Know Before Ordering an Audit
The scope of the information provided in the audit depends on the selected package or any individual agreements with the client. The data gathered also depends on the level of access provided to the website and analytical tools.
To obtain some of the information included in the audit, access to the following is required:
- FTP server
- CMS management panel (if the website has one)
- Google Search Console (either access or permission to link the tool by the person conducting the audit)
- Google Analytics
Failure to provide access, despite prior agreements, means that certain audit tasks will not be fully executed. We will include information in the audit about which tasks couldn’t be completed due to this reason.
Audit completion time from the moment of ordering ranges from 7 to 21 working days. These timeframes apply to standard audits based on our three packages. Custom audits have individually determined completion times, which will be communicated to the clients in advance before the order is placed.
What Does Our SEO Audit Include – Step by Step
- Meta Tag Analysis
We focus particularly on the meta title and meta description. Properly filled meta tags (with correct content, uniqueness, and size) are essential for optimization and SEO ranking. We analyze the meta tags for both the homepage and subpages. This analysis can be conducted even without access to the website, but having access to Google Search Console is preferred. - Duplicate Content Analysis
We evaluate the uniqueness of the website’s content, checking for internal duplication. Non-unique content can harm SEO efforts and needs to be addressed promptly. This analysis can be done without website access, though Google Search Console access is beneficial. - Content Analysis
Content is crucial for SEO as Google’s search engine primarily relies on text. Our audit assesses the quantity, quality, and uniqueness of the content, and how it’s distributed to support SEO. If a keyword list is provided, we can evaluate whether the content effectively supports keyword ranking. This also applies to blog sections. This analysis can be performed without access to the website. - Head Section Analysis
The content of the head section is just as important for Google bots as the visible section for users. Proper head section optimization is vital to prevent issues with indexing and SEO. This analysis can be conducted without website access. - Subpage Structure Analysis
A well-structured website is both SEO-friendly and user-friendly, aiding in easy navigation and improving search engine rankings. This analysis can be done without website access. - Subpage Code Accuracy Analysis
Proper functioning of the website’s code is key for SEO. The audit tests the website for errors that may impact SEO performance. This analysis can be done without website access. - Indexability Analysis
The audit checks if search engines can index the website. Restricting indexability can block the website from search results, so ensuring optimal access for bots is crucial. This analysis can be done without website access. Google Search Console access is useful. - Mobile Usability Analysis
Google now places high importance on mobile-friendliness. Non-mobile-optimized websites suffer not only in mobile rankings but also overall SEO performance. This analysis can be done without website access. - Page Load Speed Analysis
Website speed is a key SEO factor. Slow-loading pages may lower Google rankings. We assess how fast the website loads and its impact on SEO. This can be done without website access. - Website Structure Analysis
Proper website structure is crucial for both SEO and user experience. Clear, logical, and error-free sites are more likely to rank well. This analysis requires website access. - Google Search Console (GSC) Analysis
This tool offers in-depth information about indexing, meta tag issues, penalties, traffic, and more. We need access to Google Search Console to perform this analysis, or permission to integrate the tool. - Basic Link Profile Analysis
We provide a basic overview of the website’s link profile, including fresh and historical index data, if links exist. This can be done without access to the website, but Google Search Console access is recommended. - Detailed Link Profile Analysis
This deeper analysis includes data on the sources of links and their quality, assessing their impact on SEO. This can only be performed if the website has acquired links. Google Search Console access is needed. - Crawl Budget Analysis
Crawl budget is the maximum number of pages that Google can index for a site. This is particularly important for large websites, such as e-commerce stores. This analysis is included in audits for more complex sites. - Competitor Analysis
This evaluates how the website compares to competitors in terms of keyword visibility and traffic generation. This can be done without access to the website. - Keyword Potential Analysis
This identifies the best keywords to target for SEO. It can be conducted without website access, but Google Search Console and Google Analytics access are recommended. - Content Relevance Analysis
We assess whether the website has sufficient and appropriately placed content. This can be done without website access. - Website Visibility Analysis
This analyzes how visible the website is, including indexing issues and keyword rankings. Access to Google Search Console is recommended for this analysis. - Recommendations for Changes
This provides advice on website improvements, such as restructuring, changes to the link profile, content, etc., to enhance SEO. These recommendations are based on the website analysis and can only be made if we have access to the site. Without access, the recommendations will be more general.
For best results, having access to tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics is recommended. The audit provides a comprehensive picture of your website’s SEO performance and offers clear recommendations to optimize it for better rankings.
