Standard website SEO audit. It contains a comprehensive set of information on how a given site is prepared for the positioning process, which is supplemented with important link profile data. We have prepared this package for entrepreneurs operating locally, websites promoting services and new websites that have just made their debut in the search engine and do not have their link profile yet. It will also work well for NGO websites and blogs.
This variant combines site analysis with detailed link information and keyword potential evaluation. This package is dedicated to websites promoting services and smaller online stores. It will also work well for NGO websites and blogs.
This is a very extensive audit version including all elements from the base version, extended by detailed analysis of competition, keywords, visibility, keyword potential and recommendations for changes on the website. It can be done for all types of websites.
What should you know before commissioning an audit?
The scope of information provided by the SEO audit depends on the selected package or individual arrangements. The data is also influenced by the access to the website and analytical tools that were given to the positioner.
To obtain some of the information included in the audit, proper access to the FTP server, CMS content management panel (if the website has one), Google Search Console tools (access or a consent to connect this tool by the person performing the audit) and Google Analytics is necessary.
Failure to give access despite the arrangements or an explicit refusal to provide them means that the client accepts the fact that some of the actions included in this audit will not be fully performed. We will include in the audit an information about the points from the list which could not be implemented for this reason.
The SEO audit execution time (from the moment of ordering) takes up to 7 business days. This timeframe applies to standard audits based on our three packages. Customized seo website analyses have an individually defined deadline. We inform our clients about this date in advance.
What our SEO audit includes – step by step
We present in detail the elements included in our SEO audit packages (the list of work performed may differ depending on the selected audit package).
Meta tag analysis
With particular emphasis on meta title and meta description. Correctly completed meta tags, including parameters such as their content, uniqueness or size, are one of the most important points in the process of website optimization and positioning. During the website seo review, we analyze meta tags assigned to the homepage and subpages. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed in a situation when we do not have access to the website. Access to Google Search Console is also desirable in this case.
Duplicate content analysis
Analysis of the uniqueness of the content, including the uniqueness of the entire website and lack of duplicates, allows you to detect one of the most frequent causes of problems with positioning. The nonuniqueness of the website is a big problem in the context of effective SEO activities, which must be solved as soon as possible. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed in a situation when we do not have access to the website. Access to Google Search Console is also needed in this case.
Website content analysis
Due to the textual nature of the Google search engine, content of adequate quality is a very important element of the positioning process. The audit, which is performed by SEO specialists from Verseo, includes the analysis of the content in terms of quantity and quality, and assesses its uniqueness, as well as its placement – whether it is optimally supporting positioning. If you know the list of keywords for which a given website is to be ranked, it is also possible to assess whether the content currently placed on the website supports the positioning process sufficiently. If the website has a BLOG section, it is also possible to assess whether the entries posted there are appropriate support for the positioning process. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed in a situation where we do not have access to the website.
Head section analysis
It will not be an exaggeration to say that the section content is as important for Google web robots as the section is for the website visitors. Due to this fact, this part of the page code requires detailed refinement in terms of the preferences of web robots. Inappropriate section content can prevent the positioning process by blocking web robots access to the website. For this reason, section analysis, performed in terms of SEO needs, plays an important role in audits prepared by our specialists. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed if we do not have access to the website.
Subpages structure assessment
Proper site structure and internal linking are very important for two reasons. The first is related to SEO – Google web bots definitely prefer websites with a transparent and logical structure that is visitor-friendly and allows to easily find information, news or products. The second reason is the pro-sales nature of such a user-friendly website. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed in a situation where we do not have access to the website.
Subpage code assessment
Although the concept of “website quality” functions in the context of the Google Ads service, it should not be forgotten that properly functioning websites are much better perceived by Google web bots, which is not without significance for the effectiveness of the positioning process. The code validation test allows you to detect errors, which elimination can effectively support the website positioning process. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed in a situation where we do not have access to the website.
Analysis of the page indexing capabilities
Even the best optimization will not help if web crawlers are unable to index your site. The inability to index or too strict restrictions in this regard may completely block the website and prevent its display among the results. An audit prepared by our specialists checks whether web robots have the best possible access to the website. Under reasonable circumstances, some parts of the website should be excluded from being indexed. During the audit, the positioner analyzes the website in terms of both of these issues. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed in a situation where we do not have access to the website. Access to Google Search Console is also desirable in this case.
Website mobility analysis
Considering how much importance Google currently attaches to adapting websites to their trouble-free display and operation on mobile devices, this point had to be included in the audit prepared by us. Failure to adapt the website to the requirements of mobile devices negatively affects not only the results displayed on these devices but also significantly reduces the overall potential of a given website in terms of positioning. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed in a situation where we do not have access to the website.
Load time analysis
When evaluating, website speed is a factor that Google takes into account. Slow-operating websites have to face unpleasant consequences in the form of lowering their position in the Google ranking or significantly limiting the possibility of increasing their position. It is a factor that influences the positioning process to a large extent, therefore it is included in the audit content. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed in a situation when we do not have access to the website.
Website construction analysis
Only a properly built website can count in the race to the top of search engine results. Google web bots prefer websites with a transparent, error-free and logical structure that is visitor-friendly and allows finding information, news or products easily. This is a parameter that can only be analyzed when we have access to the website.
Analysis using Google Search Console (GSC)
This tool, formerly known as Google Webmaster Tools, provides comprehensive information, including the possibility of indexing a given website by web bots, problems with meta tags, data on possible penalties from Google, website traffic, link profile, server errors or problems with non-working subpages. To perform such an analysis, access to the Google Search Console tool (shared by the person ordering the audit) or a consent to connect it by our specialist is necessary. The latter case requires access to the website.
Standard link profile analysis
This analysis contains basic data on the link profile of a given website (fresh and historical index) along with the interpretation. It is presented in the report only when the website already has links. For this reason, the data on the link profile will not be included in the audit of a website that is just under construction. The audit is aimed at providing guidelines for the person building the website in terms of the best preparation for positioning. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed when we do not have access to the website. Useful when analyzing the link profile is access to Google Search Console (or the ability to connect this tool).
Detailed link profile analysis
This analysis contains extended data on the link profile of a given website (fresh and historical index) along with the interpretation. There is, for example, a detailed description of the sources of links along with their importance for the positioning process and the assessment of their quality. The audit is supplemented with extensive lists of links related to the assessed website. A detailed analysis of the link profile is presented in the report only in a situation when the website already has links.
Crawl Budget analysis
Crawl Budget is the maximum number of pages that Google can crawl per domain. It is an important parameter for very complex websites, e.g. online stores with a wide offer. Therefore, information about it is included in a package dedicated to extensive websites when it comes to technical SEO audit.
Detailed analysis of the competition
This is an assessment of how the examined website compares to that of your competitors in terms of keyword visibility or traffic on the website. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed when we do not have access to the website.
Detailed analysis of the potential of keywords
It is used to indicate which keyword should be chosen in the context of positioning. This is a parameter that can also be analyzed when we do not have access to the website. It is recommended in this case to have access to Google Search Console (or the ability to connect this tool), as well as to Google Analytics (or the ability to connect this tool).
Analysis of the substantive content of the website
It is used to assess whether the website has all the necessary elements, the right amount of content in the right places, etc. It is a parameter that can also be analyzed when we do not have access to the website.
Detailed website visibility analysis
This audit gives answers to the question of how visible a website is at the time of the assessment. It takes into account – among others – issues related to indexing or keywords.
This is a parameter that can also be analyzed when we do not have access to the website. In this case, it is recommended to have access to the Google Search Console tool (shared by the person ordering the audit) or a consent to connect it by our specialist. The latter case requires proper access to the website.
Indication of changes
Recommendations for changes, for example our recommendations for rebuilding the website, changes in the link profile or content posted on the website, etc. These are tips to solve problems that block the SEO process.
This can only be performed when we have access to the website. Due to the lack of access to the website, recommendations and tips regarding changes will have a significantly limited scope and a greater degree of generality (without giving more specific solutions).
Therefore, it is recommended to have access to the Google Search Console tool (shared by the person ordering the audit) or a consent to connect it by our specialist. The latter case requires proper access to the website.
