The customer comes first. That will never change at Verseo.
All our decisions, past and future, depend on whether the services we provide are good for the customer and delivered at the appropriate level. We've launched and discontinued new products, even if we were making money on them, but they didn't provide much value to the customer.
The same applies to the level of service provided by Verseo and its specialist. We've never compromised on this, and Verseo is known for being very demanding in this regard. I personally consider this a huge advantage. Many of the people who worked with us and then left now have excellent jobs in other stores, corporations, or agencies.
Therefore, when a new specialist joins us, we dedicate a great deal of time to their training, providing support, and teaching them a practical approach to campaigns. We are tolerant of mistakes and patient. However, if mistakes persist and the quality for the client is not delivered at the appropriate level, we will unfortunately have to part ways.
The entire team's performance is important, and each client must be served at the appropriate level. Often, we bear significant responsibility for the client's business results.
We don't want to be a bland company - we want to stand out
We've often heard – for 10 years – that others have this, or why we don't have this. We have our own specific principles and values that are important to us. We also demand the same from everyone who works with us. Technology changes at an incredible pace, new products are created, and sometimes after two years we do completely different things than before, so the ability to adapt to change is currently the most important skill. At Verseo, we never assume anything is set in stone; everything can be changed, improved, or the existing logic challenged.
Our values and principles do not change
We spend a lot of time during job interviews discussing our current situation, our expectations, and what to expect. This allows everyone to make an informed decision about working with us. It once happened to me during a job interview that the person I was interviewing asked me:
- Why are you telling me all this?
- Because I want you to know what kind of company you're coming to.
Hierarchy
The office door is open to everyone; anyone can come talk to Mateusz and me, or call me. Those with more experience, in particular, know that this isn't a problem; "younger" people often have to get used to it or overcome the initial barrier, especially since Mateusz and I are participating in recruitment less and less often. Compared to other companies/agencies of our size, we still have few typical managers. These are primarily people who facilitate the smooth running of the company.
The best idea always wins, regardless of position. We don't have anyone on the board (like me) who has the most important say. We always ask people how we should do something, and the best solution, which is also the best for the client, wins.
