This short story best explains the importance of SEO (Google and users like GOOD websites). But to more thoroughly answer the question: "what's worth knowing about SEO services?", we take a closer look.

SEO service – what is it?

First of all, it is worth clarifying what SEO is.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the optimization of a website for search engines. This term encompasses a complex process based on approximately 200 elements that influence a website's presence in high search results for specific keywords. This, in turn, translates into increased traffic and increased sales potential.

In short, the idea is that after entering a specific phrase in a search engine, our website will appear "in the top 10." Or at least in the top 10. The rest of the results are practically irrelevant.

What do we gain? It means an increase in search queries and organic visits.

How to do this? This is a real challenge. The most important things are:

  • tytuł (approximately 80 characters),
  • address URL (simple and containing words defining the page content),
  • and a short but valuable description (at the time of publication of this material the limit is 150 – 200 characters) what the website is about.

What does website positioning mean?

As mentioned, approximately 200 factors influence website positioning. The most important factors, in addition to the three mentioned above, include:

  • creating valuable content,
  • using unique product descriptions,
  • proper work with the website code,
  • intelligent linking (external and internal).
SEO in Verseo - step-by-step description
  1. Website and link audit – A website (or online store) review is the foundation upon which we will develop an SEO strategy. This will help us determine whether the website requires optimization, for example, in terms of speed, meta tags, unique content, the possibility of indexing the website by Google robots, linking, or redirects. The audited website may require improvements, which will be suggested by Google Search Console (We wrote more about the tools used by SEO specialists HERE).

Effective SEO – How to Verify? Sample Tools

Google Analytics:

  • Analysis of the number of visits to the website (organic search results).
  • Keyword analysis.

Google Search Console:

  • Keyword analysis.

Senuto:

  • Analysis of the website's visibility in natural search results.

Semstorm:

  • Analysis of the average position of a website for a specific query.
  1. Preparing an SEO strategy – based on the audit and competition analysis, we prepare an action plan covering individual activities related to website optimization, content publication and linking.
  2. OPTIMIZATION – i.e., fixing errors on the website, improving internal linking, and working on the website architecture.
  3. Content publication – when the errors have been eliminated and we are sure that the new texts will not be duplicated within the website, we post them on the website.
  4. Linking – both internal (making it easier to navigate the site, creating a content hierarchy, and effectively directing Google's crawlers to the most important subpages) and external (quality is key here!). Linking is the fuel for our SEO engine.
  5. Monitoring the effects and… further work 🙂 – SEO is an ongoing process, the results of which become visible only after some time. After initial optimization and link building, we check how the website is responding, then we plan further actions, such as expanding the website with new subpages, adding text, or further link building.

Before you order SEO... YOU NEED TO KNOW

You now know roughly how to ensure your website's proper search ranking. If you don't feel confident delving into this topic yourself, you can always seek help from an SEO agency. Before you turn to professionals, you should know that…

  1. Over 200 factors influence your company's position in Google search.
  2. In the long run, this is the cheapest method of acquiring customers from the Google search engine.
  3. Effective positioning is based largely on the knowledge and experience of positioners.
  4. It consists of continuous testing, trial and error methods, and access to a wide portfolio of websites.
  5. The SEO specialist will ask you for full access to the website so that they can perform an in-depth audit and, once cooperation has been established, begin optimizing it.
  6. Positioning is a long process. Immediate results? Not the way to go! You need to be patient. For this reason, SEO service contracts are usually signed for a year. The reward? Longer-lasting results than with Google Ads. With professional SEO, the first thing you notice is an increase in quality traffic (converting to a goal) over a 3-5-month period, followed by an increase in conversions in subsequent months.
  7. SEO strategy is chosen individually. If your friend suggests that "it works" for them, know that this solution may not work for you.
  8. The strategy may change during the contract term. This is due to changes in Google's algorithms as well as the website's response to optimization. If everything goes according to plan, we act. If we don't achieve the desired results, we "cheat through the window."
  9. Not every website can be optimized to the same degree. This depends on many factors, including its history, responsiveness, any penalties imposed by Google, and the technology used to create the website.
  10. Good communication with your SEO specialist is essential! You must keep them informed of any changes you make to your website, or any changes you plan to make. Otherwise, you'll be "getting in your own way" and hindering, or at worst, destroying, your achieved results.
  11. We work with a relatively fixed set of keywords. You need to know which are most important to your business. The SEO specialist will suggest which of them align with your SEO strategy and potential for breakthrough.
  12. UX [User experience, from English simply user experience] is especially important in e-commerce. 69% of customers abandon a website if the purchasing process requires too many steps. It's worth combining it with SEO. More about it HERE.
