Google Analytics allows us to track the actions of our potential customers. Defining a campaign goal should be a fundamental element of data analysis. For example, we can measure form submissions, clicking on the contact tab, adding a product to the cart, making a purchase, time spent on the page, and so on. To configure a goal, log in to your Google Analytics account and select the Administration tab in the Goals view column.

Here we go to the configuration of goals, we can choose from templates:
- Payment processing,
- Making an appointment,
- Creating an account,
- View details,
- Contact us,
- Reading the review,
- Live chat,
- Update (download or install a new version),
- Data comparison,
- Adding to favorites,
- Playing multimedia,
- Sharing on or connecting to a social network,
- Rejestracja.

Creating a Smart Goal
In addition to the templates mentioned above, we can also create a Smart Goal (an alternative method for conversion tracking). Analytics automatically evaluates visits to a given website and app, and the best ones are translated into Smart Goals. We can also assign a value to goals, for example, a submitted form earns us 100 PLN.
Once you create a goal, it begins recording data. You can also pause it by changing the recording status to OFF. This will stop recording data for that goal.
It's also worth importing goals into your Google AdWords campaign . To do this, connect your account to Google Analytics. Log in to your Google AdWords account, select Google Analytics from the Conversions tab , and deselect the goal you want to import. Then, simply click Import to track your activity.
