Recently, a new option for creating ADVERTISEMENTS, so-called "responsive ads," appeared in our AdWords accounts (when creating a Display Network campaign). How does this work and what do they look like?

By default, the Display Network supports many ad formats, which we need to prepare in the appropriate sizes. Google has recently made it easier for us to create banner ads and added so-called "responsive ads."

How do responsive ads work?

Responsive ads were created to eliminate the hassle of creating multiple ad sizes and types. Now, we can create a single ad that automatically adjusts its size, appearance, and format to fit almost any available advertising space. Depending on the website, these ads can take the form of native banner ads or text ads. Native ads are a new feature in AdWords campaigns and are an integral part of the media content, naturally integrated into the content our users view online.

What do responsive ads look like?

To create a responsive ad, we need to provide an image, headlines, ad text, and a destination URL. Once the ads are created and approved by Google's technical team, AdWords will automatically generate our ads and display them to our users on the websites they browse.
